There's something so special to be included in the planning of a surprise proposal. Stressful to be sure, but it really is exciting. I'd never claim that my heart is beating as fast as that of the person dropping to one knee and popping the question, but it gets up there. Can you imagine the pressure of not screwing up the surprise?

Thankfully at least when I'm in Glacier, or many other places in the area surrounding the National Park, a person with a "nice camera" or two isn't all that shocking. People bring nice cameras to capture the beautiful views all the time, so I'm just another 'guy with a camera' in most cases. From there it is a simple matter of some bombastic side-eye staring so it's not obvious I'm super focused on the couple.
