A Cloudy and Rain Soaked Surprise Proposal at Apgar Village

There's the old adage about "the best laid plans of mice and men," and the execution of Colton's surprise proposal here in Glacier National Park that was never more accurate.

Here we were at sunrise, for the perfect early-morning proposal, Apgar Village was practically deserted which was unusual for this time of year. Of course the reason it was deserted was due to rain. Lots of it.

They were staying at the Apgar Village Inn, so physically getting to our planned location was no problem whatsoever. But convincing a sleeping soon-to-be-fiancé to get out of a warm bed to check out the non-existent sunrise without giving away why proved to be a challenge.

Ultimately Colton's persistence paid off though, and she did in fact say yes and forgave him for dragging her out of bed.
