You know what they say about the best laid plans. Well Brian and I had a rock solid plan, it was still early season in the park so crowds weren't going to be an issue. The weather was more cloudy than we expected, but that is just Montana and Glacier doing Montana and Glacier things.

The unplanned part was someone convincing Sam that they should really do the full Virginia Falls hike instead of stopping at St Mary Falls, which added a chunk of time Brian hadn't scheduled for. But of course he couldn't explain with any coherence why they couldn't extend the hike without ruining his surprise.

He somehow got patch of cell service where there is typically not any to be found and was able to get me a text that they were running late to the proposal location. That and practically sprinting back from Virginia Falls with the embarrassing story that he really had to use the restroom.

After all of that, as you can see she said yes, and all was right with the world again.
