It is so cool that at least half of my senior portrait sessions are for students graduating in other parts of the country. And believe me I get it. Having not grown up here myself, I can imagine the flex that it is for your senior portraits being taken amongst our mountains and lakes here in Montana versus what is typically a dramatically more urban—or in Blake's case an extremely flat—landscape.

Just the simple act of not being taken in the same spots all of your classmates photos are taken in is attractive on its own. Even for the students here in the Flathead Valley who sometimes wish to go somewhere else for their senior portraits.

Blake isn't one of my many past senior portrait subjects from Alpine Theatre Project here locally, she is a drama student, so I'm including her in my count of theatre kids I get to work with.

We had a perfect evening at the Holbrook Overlook and City Beach just as the sun was setting.
